I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in anthropology: medical anthropology and global health and a minor in diversity. Prior to Align, I thought I wanted to go to law school, but after working in the field for seven years, I learned that the legal field was not for me.
After much thought, the technology field always fascinated me. I built my first computer in 2018 and loved seeing all the current technology coming out. I never thought I could pursue a Computer Science degree. After deciding I wanted a formal education and after much research, I applied to the Align program without any programming experience. Being in Align, I have learned so much and I am ecstatic to learn more at Khoury College.
With a degree in Computer Science, I hope to contribute my skills in a positive way. Hopefully, it will come full circle, and I can contribute to modernizing the legal field with Computer Science.
