My Background

Coming from the design field, I’ve been interacting with tech in many ways, especially by utilizing and designing for digital products. Prior to entering the Align program, I earned my bachelor’s degree in advertising and digital design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I also studied and received a minor in creative technology.

My Future

In joining the Align program, I was most excited to be able to learn computer science alongside students with diverse backgrounds and experiences. I chose Khoury College of Computer Sciences because of the unique opportunity it offered of earning a master’s degree in computer science without requiring a bachelor’s degree in the same field.

Regarding the future, I’m interested in using my prior experience in UX/UI to dive into the technical side of Human Computer Interaction.
