My Background
Prior to joining the Align program, I was working as an advertising analyst with a BS in Marketing. While I enjoyed delivering actionable insights to clients through data visualization, I became interested in leveraging computer science to tame the ever-increasing volume of data available.
Coming from a non-technical background, the bridge portion of the Align program stood out to me. After speaking with coding boot-camp graduates and software development engineers, it became clear to me that this program would provide me with the foundation required to transition my career.
My Future
My aim is to become a back-end developer for a large and innovative tech company where I can hone my skills as a software engineer.
