My Background

Before I came to the Align program, I worked for Ernst & Young in New York City, managing IT systems. I worked as an IT auditor for about three years, looking at IT infrastructure for different companies to make sure their software and hardware components were in compliance.

Bridge

I like that Align helps students bridge the gap between their past experiences and computer science, and they do a good job of taking students from wherever they’ve been at point A to becoming a master’s student in the computer science program.

We have a great instructor in Foundations of Computer Science who teaches us how to program using different types of data, and how to make that data do what you need it to. The professors take the time to help me with any questions and to make sure I know the material going forward.

Co-op

I’d like to do a co-op somewhere here in Boston. The co-op program is one of the main attractions for a lot of the students here, including myself. It helps you gain the work experience you need to figure out where you want to go with your career after you’re done at Northeastern.
