I penned an article about how Wehe is enabling crowdsourced detection of net neutrality violations worldwide and adapting to new applications as part of the Arcep 2021 State of the Internet report.
My team’s work on Personal Virtual Networks and IoT privacy and security were mentioned in the UK Telecom Regulator, Ofcom, Internet Futures report.
Other notable accomplishments:
Appointed to serve on the State of Massachusetts Special Commission to Study Equity and Access to Telecommunication Services. Will evaluate issues related to the digital divide in the Commonwealth and make recommendations for change.

Lawsuit (with Alan Mislove) against the Department of Justice (Sandvig v. Barr) and our amicus brief were cited in the recent Supreme Court ruling in the Van Buren v. US case. This ruling, for the first time, will limit the scope of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act in a way that makes it easier for academics to conduct research on the internet. See:

Appointed to serve on the State of Massachusetts Special Commission to Study Equity and Access to Telecommunication Services. Will evaluate issues related to the digital divide in the Commonwealth and make recommendations for change.
