The combined BS in Data Science and Economics (Khoury College and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities) integrates fundamental economics experience with a strong foundation in programming — preparing you to use data to solve complex issues in industry, government, and behavior. You’ll learn to work with data in its various forms, equipping you with the skills you need to analyze and interpret economic data, make data-driven decisions, and succeed in finance, business, government, and more.

Shuo Zhang
Shuo Zhang is an assistant professor at Khoury College, jointly appointed with the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research examines how labor economics, platform design, algorithmic fairness, and human behavior influence online job markets.
