Biography
Yuxuan Lu is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. He is advised by Dakuo Wang.
Lu’s doctoral pursuits focus on natural language processing and human-computer interaction. He’s curious to discover ways that machines can better understand human language, and in what new ways that improved communication can enable those machines to better help their human users. He is expecting to complete his doctorate in 2028.
Before joining Khoury College in 2023, Lu interned as a machine learning researcher at LinkedIn China, where he conducted research and wrote experiment code for LinkedIn’s production data research. He also spent time interning as a research assistant at both Tsinghua University’s NLP Lab and the Beijing University of Technology.
Outside of work, Lu enjoys playing Starcraft.
