Biography
Viney Ugave is a part-time lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Arlington.
Ugave teaches mobile application development at the Arlington campus. Teaching has always been a passion of his, especially sharing his software engineering experience with students in a project-based course to ready them for industry. Outside of teaching, Ugave is a holder of several mobile computing patents and a senior software engineer at Microsoft, where he works in mobile computing, devices, and cloud computing on a wide array of teams, including Azure, Teams CMD, and Teams Android.
Prior to Microsoft, Ugave held software engineering positions at Deloitte Digital and IBM. In his free time, he enjoys live music and considers himself a rookie guitar player.
