Biography
Tushin Mallick is a doctoral student and graduate assistant in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University in Boston. He is advised by Cristina Nita-Rotaru.
Drawn by the quality of Khoury College’s research, Mallick joined in 2023 to pursue his doctorate in network security. He is particularly fascinated by the security threats relevant to authentication and authorization in networks because of the plethora of possible attacks.
Before joining Khoury College, Mallick worked as a research assistant at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research there focused on detecting malware applications by training deep learning models on the sequential attributes of application system calls. Mallick has also published papers on fog networking, 3GPP, and application mobility.
