Thy Nguyen is a doctoral student at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, advised by Huy Nguyen. His research focuses on algorithms and machine learning, specifically making algorithms and machine learning models fair, private, and directed towards social good. Additionally, Nguyen is associated with the Algorithms and Theory group at Northeastern.  

Before joining Northeastern in 2019, Nguyen received his bachelor’s in computer science from Missouri State University. His research has been published in conferences such as the International Conference on Machine Learning and AAAI.
