Biography
Sarah Elizabeth Gillespie is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. She is advised by Christo Wilson in the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute.
Gillespie joined Khoury College in 2023 with a research focus on algorithm auditing, tracking, and privacy. She is also a member and organizer of the Khoury PhD Women Group. Before joining the college, she was a metrologist at international biopharmaceutical equipment supplier Sartorius Stedim Biotech, where she designed and approved validation and qualifications performed on the laboratory’s equipment and software.
Outside of academia, Gillespie spends her time with her three cats and her ceramics wheel, with the goal of crafting a gorgeous and dishwasher-safe dinnerware set.
