Biography
Rupali Bhati is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. She is advised by Chris Amato.
Bhati joined Khoury College in 2023 to explore reinforcement learning, specifically cooperation in multi-agent settings using reinforcement learning and game theory. She received the Khoury Distinguished Fellowship in 2023 and was selected for the Google Computer Science Research Mentorship Program in 2022
Bhati has published six papers on reinforcement learning and has served as a reviewer for NeurIPS, the Montreal AI Symposium, and ITSC. She also works as a graduate research assistant under Amato, working to solve decentralized partially observable Markov decision processes (POMDPs) optimally.
