Biography
Priyanka Bishnoi is an associate cooperative education coordinator at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. Upon graduating, Bishnoi started her career as a product engineer in Silicon Valley. She made a career transition to higher education and joined the College of Engineering at Northeastern as a student services advisor for master’s and doctoral students in the department of mechanical and industrial engineering.
In her current role at Khoury College, Bishnoi teaches an undergraduate co-op preparation course, which prepares students for a successful co-op search, and works with employers to develop new co-op opportunities. She enjoys working with students to help them achieve their professional goals and believes the cooperative education program at Khoury College provides students with the opportunity to integrate classroom learning with real-world experience. Students not only develop skills and experience in their field of interest, but also broaden their perspectives as future professionals by alternating semesters of academic study with employment. She believes the impact that the co-op program and advisors have on a student’s intellectual and professional growth is extremely powerful.
