Biography
Olivier Flückiger is a PhD student in Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences. His primary field of study is Programming Languages, and he is advised by Professor Jan Vitek. Flückiger is a graduate of the University of Bern, where he received both his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science.
What are your research interests?
My passion lies in language implementation – creating the tools and techniques required to get from powerful abstractions to efficient execution.
What’s one problem you’d like to solve with your research/work?
I am investigating techniques to efficiently execute hard to optimize programming languages.
