Biography
Nicole Bekerian is a director of events management and strategy at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her master’s in higher education administration and bachelor’s in business administration from Northeastern. Bekerian joined Khoury College in 2011 as an administrative assistant, then took on roles in finance and human resources.
Bekerian’s current role has many moving parts, from marketing operations, brand management, project management, to event team management and budgeting. She ensures that Khoury College is represented in brand across all platforms so the voice, look and feel of the college is heard. Khoury College is part of so many amazing things and she wants to make sure that we can share that with those outside of the college and Northeastern.
While she has seen Khoury College expand significantly over time, Bekerian loves to see how the college continues to maintain the small business atmosphere as well as a personal and individualized environment. Additionally, since starting at Khoury College, she has seen how computer science is integral to everything we do and has a vast role in all industries. The field continues to grow each year and she enjoys seeing what our faculty and students can accomplish.
