Biography
Matt Higger is an assistant teaching professor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He earned his bachelor’s in mathematics from Tufts University and his master’s and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.
He is currently working on projects to develop interfaces to allow paralyzed people to communicate efficiently with user-specific movements, and to segment populations of images to identify regions which show statistically significant relationships.
Higger has been published in IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and Cambridge Quarterly of Healthcare Ethics.
He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts.
