Biography
Kayla McLaughlin is an assistant director of academic operations at Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education and applied psychology/human development from Boston College, and her master’s degree in literacy from Providence College. McLaughlin focuses her support on TAs and instructors for larger undergraduate Khoury College classes, and enjoys helping TAs make their classes welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered. Her favorite aspects of her work are the work ethic of the faculty and staff that make Khoury College an inclusive and positive environment, particularly throughout the TA hiring and orientation process.
McLaughlin grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.
