Biography

Jordan Ballantyne is an assistant co-op coordinator ay the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.  

Ballantyne advises students on their co-op prospects and professional development, connects with employers interested in working with co-ops, and teaches the “Professional Development” course. She takes pride in Khoury College’s “CS for everyone” mission and is passionate about supporting students in their exploration and pursuit of their careers. She also believes that there is more than one path to the same career and that it is never too late to explore. 

Prior to joining Northeastern, Ballantyne was a senior consultant on the risk and financial advisory team at Deloitte & Touche — advising clients on their technological systems and alignment with SOX financial regulations, with a specialization in SAP. In academia, she developed leadership curriculum and orientation programming while earning her master’s in higher education at Elon University. She also worked as a career fellow at Northeastern, leading workshops on career planning and development while helping students one on one. 

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, yoga, trivia, and her beloved Philadelphia sports teams.
