Biography

Jiahui Zhang is a doctoral student at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences, advised by Wolfgang Gatterbauer. His doctoral research, which he began in 2021 and expects to complete in 2026, focuses on databases. 

Zhang previously worked as a database engineer at Tsinghua Tongfang in Beijing, and as a site reliability engineer at TripAdvisor. He is affiliated with Northeastern’s Data Lab, and parlays a love of literature and philosophy into writing short fictions outside the lab.
