Biography
Jamon Foster is a part-time lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.
Foster earned his master’s in health informatics from Northeastern and his bachelor’s in information technology from Plymouth State University. He specializes in personal health informatics and teaches several courses at Northeastern, including "Data Management in Healthcare," "Database Design and Security," and "Business of Health Informatics."
Outside of academia, Foster works as a senior manager of ancillary applications for Tufts Medicine. He previously worked as a clinical applications manager at Tufts Medical Center and as a software developer at MEDITECH. Foster is originally from Montpelier, Vermont.
