Biography
Hannah Kearns is a senior human resources associate at Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. Kearns holds a master’s in human resources management from Northeastern University and a BFA in art education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she also completed a practicum in K-12 education.
At Khoury College, Kearns oversees activities and processes for the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and general lifecycle management of new faculty, staff, and visitors at all campuses. Kearns works with the Khoury HR Team to streamline processes and projects to continuously improve HR services to faculty, staff, and visitors. Kearns also works with the Office of General Council and Office of Global Services on processing immigration paperwork for staff, faculty and visitors that are coming on a J-1 or H1B visa.
Prior to working at Northeastern, Kearns was a K-12 educator and has a passion for teaching and learning. Kearns is excited to be a part of a vibrant community that is working to solve challenging problems that will help shape a brighter future. Kearns is especially inspired by Khoury College’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.
