Biography
Girik Malik is a PhD student at Northeastern’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and neuroscience. He is advised by Professor Dr. Robert Platt Jr. Malik received his Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science from Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida, India, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
During his undergraduate studies, Malik was a visiting research scholar at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he wrote his thesis, “Development of a Neonatal Tactile Connectome using Graph Theory for the prediction of Neurobehavioural adaptation in early childhood.” His past research includes patented technology surrounding data storage methods, data compression algorithms, and secure multi-level electronic authentication techniques.
