Biography
Ernest Mauristhene is a senior co-op coordinator in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.
Mauristhene cares deeply about building meaningful relationships with and between Northeastern students, external employers, and university stakeholders. Before joining Khoury College in 2024, he spent almost 14 years developing that passion as a co-op faculty member and assistant director in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business. In that role, he taught “Professional Development for Co-op” courses, organized large-scale networking events, developed partnerships with employers, and led strategic engagement programming for alumni, students, and fellow co-op faculty. Before joining Northeastern, he held workforce development roles with JVS Boston, Goodwill, and the US Air Force.
Mauristhene’s work with Khoury College builds naturally on his years with D’Amore-McKim, allowing him to bring his existing skills to bear in the tech world. He continues to teach professional development courses and work directly with students and employers, facilitating new connections and opportunities for both parties.
In his free time, Mauristhene coaches youth basketball.
