Biography
Dorsa Zeinali is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. She is advised by Raymond Fu.
A Khoury Distinguished Fellow, Zeinali researches methods of compressing large vision and language models from 16 bits per parameter to two bits or fewer while preserving their capacity and performance. She loves to read research papers, discuss ideas, and contribute to research in her lab.
Prior to joining Khoury College, Zeinali held research internships at George Mason University, Northwestern University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, and Johns Hopkins University. Outside of her research, she loves to play volleyball and learn languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Korean, French, and Spanish.
