What are the specifics of your graduate education (thus far)?
I am pursuing a Ph.D. degree in computer science with a specialization in robotics and machine learning, advised by Professor Robert Platt.
What are your research interests?
I am interested in applying reinforcement learning and imitation learning methods to robotic manipulation problems.
What’s one problem you’d like to solve with your research/work?
I would like to develop effective methods for robotic learning that trains the robot to complete novel tasks without massive training time or data.
What aspect of what you do is most interesting?
The fascinating aspect of robotics research is the infinite possibilities of what robots can do with the novel approaches brought by roboticists. It is an honor for me to be the witness and contributor for entering the era of robotics.
What are your research or career goals, going forward?
I would like to become an expert in robotics and keep contributing to this community.
