Devesh Tiwari is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, he holds a courtesy appointment in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. Before joining Northeastern, Devesh was a staff scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, a flagship, multi-program science and technology laboratory of the United States Department of Energy. Tiwari earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and his bachelor’s in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India.
Tiwari’s research focuses on innovating new methods to improve the efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of large-scale parallel computing systems. Tiwari is the Director of the Goodwill Computing Lab at Northeastern University, where his group designs novel computational analytical tools and models to improve the reliability of high-performance computing.
