Brinn Strenger
Bio
Brinn Strenger is the assistant director of graduate student services in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Arlington, Virginia.
Strenger’s key responsibilities include advising Arlington-based students and creating programming that improves student experiences on campus. She enjoys helping students find their place in their field of interest while also exploring their identity and expressing their individuality in the workplace. She is inspired by the Align master’s program and the diverse student perspectives it brings.
Prior to joining Khoury College in 2023, Strenger was the assistant director of computer science summer academies in the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. There, she planned, coordinated, and executed seven weeks of computer science summer academies with the goal of diversifying STEM fields and introducing students to computer science.
Outside of work, Strenger is an avid watcher and player of sports. She recently added knitting to her list of hobbies, and enjoys spending time with her family and running around with her niece and nephews.
