Brian Cross is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. Cross earned his master’s in computer science from the University of Washington and his bachelor’s in computer science from California Polytechnic State University. Cross teaches software engineering at Northeastern.

Cross has a broad spectrum of interests which has led him to work in areas such as API design, user experiences, and developer efficiency. He has worked at Microsoft as a software engineer for over 20 years designing and implementing developer APIs, user experiences, Windows services, and productivity tools for Windows Phone and Windows.
