Bio
Ashley Kerbel is an academic advisor in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.
Kerbel helps students build their academic careers by providing course planning assistance, referrals to campus resources, and education about college policies and procedures. She enjoys supporting students in and out of the classroom as they work to achieve their goals, and she is excited by Khoury College’s groundbreaking research and presence within Northeastern’s global network.
Prior to joining Khoury College in 2023, Kerbel worked at the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority’s international headquarters coordinating member operations and collegiate support. She volunteered extensively with the sorority before working there, and also worked as a residential life coordinator at the University of South Carolina.
In her free time, Kerbel volunteers with the Junior League of Rhode Island, explores new creative outlets including watercolor painting, and travels throughout New England visiting lighthouses.
