Biography

Anthony Wu is a research assistant in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

Motivated in part by the impact his father had as a medical doctor, Wu seeks new ways to improve the speed and accuracy of large-scale biological experiments, whether by developing new statistical methods or by making changes to open-source code packages. These changes include accounting for more experimental complexity, bolstering computational speed and memory handling as input data enlarges, and improving user experience by making core MSStats packages more usable, reliable, and accurate.

Prior to joining Khoury College in 2023, Wu was a software engineer at Amazon, where he served as a scrum leader and automated cross-border document generation for goods ordered on Amazon.com. In his free time, he likes to snowboard and play basketball, board games, and video games.
