Biography

Almudena Konrad is a visiting teaching professor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Oakland.

Konrad teaches discrete structures and computer networks after previously teaching mathematics of data models and cybersecurity. Her research interests include computer networks, cybersecurity, computer science education and blockchain technologies.

She was drawn to Khoury College by its dynamic academic environment and commitment to excellence in computer science education through a culture of inclusivity and innovation. Prior to joining Khoury College in 2022, Konrad was an associate professor in the Math and Computer Science Department at Mills College in Oakland.

Konrad enjoys writing in her free time. She loves to engage in meaningful conversations, share stories, travel, exercise, swim in the ocean, and spend time with family and friends.
