Biography
Alexander Grob is an associate director of software development at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He received his master’s in cybersecurity and his bachelor’s in computer science and entrepreneurship from Northeastern. Prior to his position at Khoury College, Grob spent two and a half years at State Street Global Advisors as a co-op infrastructure project manager, where he led lifecycle migrations and upgrades.
In his current role, Grob is a full-stack software developer. He works on developing in-house applications to solve administration hurdles and streamline processes through automation to make the experience for students, staff and faculty more pleasant. Grob loves being able to develop applications in-house since he can design solutions to fit specific needs instead of having to make a third-party solution work. At Khoury College, Grob is excited by the constant drive to research and explore areas that can help others with technology around the country and the world.
Grob spent his young adulthood in Munich, Germany, where he also attended high school before coming to Northeastern.
