Biography

Aisling Kearns is a research coordinator at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her master’s in forensic anthropology from Boston University Medical School. Kearns is affiliated with the Relational Agents Group at Northeastern.

Prior to joining Northeastern in 2021, she was a research assistant and associate lecturer for the anthropology department at the University of Massachusetts Boston.  Specifically, Kearns worked on a research study that examined the health effects of financial debt. With a passion for studying culture and archaeology, in 2014, she participated in the archaeological excavation of a medieval cemetery in Romania.
