Ryan Bockmon
Ryan Bockmon is an assistant teaching professor at Khoury College. His research career has covered data science, computing education, cognitive science, and augmented reality, and his courses on masters-level data science, algorithms, and computer vision aim to improve on the areas of student experience he struggled with during his own studies.

Philip Bogden
Philip Bogden is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College. He has explored data visualization, machine learning, and oceanography as both an academic and an industry professional for many years, and now specializes in data visualization, data science, web technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Gary Cantrell
Gary Cantrell is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College. He is interested in computer science and digital forensics, and prior to joining Northeastern, he founded the Dixie State University Computer Crime Lab.

Michael Correll
Michael Correll is an associate research professor at Khoury College. His work in the worlds of data science and visualization aim to create reliable, inclusive, and informative visualizations for nonexpert audiences, and to help people make accurate decisions based on data.

Brianna Dym
Brianna Dym is an assistant teaching professor at Khoury College, where she teaches human–computer interaction and programming design. She is driven to broaden participation in computing and ensure that everyone benefits from technology; to achieve this, she has reimagined curricula and fostered community among LGBTQ students.

Usama Fayyad
Usama Fayyad is a professor of the practice at Khoury College and the director of Northeastern’s Institute for Experiential AI. A recipient of awards from the ACM and NASA, he specializes in data science, machine learning, AI, and data mining.

Cliff Forlines
Clifton Forlines is an associate research professor at Khoury College, affiliated with the Northeastern University Visualization Consortium (NUVis). His human-computer interaction research focuses on the relationship between input and visual data manipulation, to provide meaningful insights from data and support better decision-making.

Sandy Ganzell
Sandy Ganzell is a teaching professor at Khoury College. He taught mathematics and computer science for two decades before joining Khoury College in 2024, excited by the opportunity to teach in the Align program.

Alan Jamieson
Alan Jamieson is a teaching professor at Khoury College, and the director of computing programs at the Roux Institute on the Portland campus and interim director of the Miami campus. In addition to his research into algorithms and combinatorial graph theory, Jamieson also studies broadening participation in computer science.

Lindsay Jamieson
Lindsay Jamieson is a teaching professor at Khoury College, and a member of the executive committee for ACM-W North America. She researches algorithms and theory, and also investigates K-12 computer science education, which intersects with her interest in supporting women’s full participation in computer science.

Tala Talaei Khoei is an assistant teaching professor at Khoury College. Her research encompasses AI, deep learning, reinforcement learning, inclusivity in computer science, and data quality, visualization, interpretation, mining, and education.
