  • Ildar Akhmetov

    Ildar Akhmetov is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College, and the director of computing programs for the Vancouver campus. In addition to his significant tenure as a university educator, Akhmetov is also an entrepreneur who has founded and managed several businesses, and a software developer who has overseen the development, integration, maintenance, and security of a variety of computer systems.

  • Nate Derbinsky

    Nate Derbinsky is a teaching professor, and the associate dean of both the global campus and of teaching faculty at Khoury College in Boston. His research operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, optimization, machine learning, and database systems, and he has been working to deliver quality computer science education for students from kindergarten through graduate school for nearly 20 years.

  • Alison Donnelly

    Alison Donnelly is the associate dean of administration and finance at Khoury College. Her role is focused on the financial and administrative support for Khoury College; she and her team ensure the college's continued success in its academic, research, and student experience goals by delivering top-notch financial, HR, operational, and technology-related support.

  • Bethany Edmunds

    Bethany Edmunds is a teaching professor, assistant dean of computing programs for Vancouver, and interim director of computing programs in Seattle at Khoury College. She is passionate about breaking down barriers to create greater diversity, access and inclusivity within the technology community.

  • Abigail Francis

    Abigail Francis is director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Khoury College. In line with the college's mission of CS for everyone, Francis is driven to build a stronger sense of belonging across the college’s network campus teams. She also collaborates with DEI leads from other Northeastern colleges and campuses to create a welcoming and inclusive institution.

  • Benjamin Hescott

    Benjamin Hescott is a teaching professor, and the senior associate dean of academic programs and student experience at Khoury College. His research interests include computational complexity, approximation algorithms, and computational biology, and he is passionate about making sure computer science education is accessible to all.

  • Alan Jamieson

    Alan Jamieson is a teaching professor at Khoury College, and the director of computing programs at the Roux Institute on the Portland campus and interim director of the Miami campus. In addition to his research into algorithms and combinatorial graph theory, Jamieson also studies broadening participation in computer science.

  • Albert Lionelle

    Albert Lionelle is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College, and the director of the Align Online program. His research centers on the use of computing tools and inclusive pedagogy to enable better computer science education.

  • Alan Mislove

    Alan Mislove is a professor and the senior associate dean for academic affairs at Khoury College, and a core faculty member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute. His research deals with distributed systems and networks, with a focus on using social networks to enhance the security, privacy, and efficiency of emerging systems.

  • Alvaro Monge

    Alvaro Monge is a teaching professor at Khoury College, and assistant dean and director of computing programs for the college’s California campuses. He is passionate about supporting and retaining underrepresented students in computing and preparing them to thrive in the tech industry.

    Alexia Monsen is the director of communications at Khoury College, overseeing all internal and external communications. She enjoys developing big-picture strategies and workflows, helping the college tell its story through many voices, and creating internal and external advocates for the college.

  • Elizabeth Mynatt

    Elizabeth Mynatt is the Dean of Khoury College of Computer Sciences. She joined Northeastern University in January 2022 after a 23-year career at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), where she most recently served as Regents’ and Distinguished Professor in the College of Computing and executive director of the Institute of People and Technology.

  • Predrag Radivojac

    Predrag Radivojac is a professor and associate dean of research at Khoury College. His work strives to grasp the molecular basis for higher-level phenotypes and genetic disorders, and to develop algorithms and analysis techniques related to the function of biological macromolecules, mass spectrometry proteomics, genome interpretation, and precision health.

  • Rajmohan Rajaraman

    Rajmohan Rajamaran is a professor and the associate dean of faculty affairs at Khoury College. He has made important contributions in the areas of distributed hash tables and fundamental combinatorial optimization problems, with the former being incorporated in peer-to-peer systems.

  • Sami Rollins

    Sami Rollins is a Teaching Professor and Director of Graduate Computing Programs at the Oakland campus. Her research includes broadening participation in computing, computer science education, and mobile and distributed computing.
