CCIS researchers find over 100 spying Tor nodes that attempt to compromise darknet sites
CCIS Professor Guevara Noubir and CCIS PhD Student Amirali Sanatinia have announced a paper (to be delivered at this summer's Def Con hacker convention in Las Vegas) that reveals over 100 spying Tor nodes that were shown to be targeting hidden services.

Building a better computer bug finder
A paper detailing the research was presented at the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy and was published in the conference proceedings. Technical staff members of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory led the technical research: Patrick Hulin, Tim Leek, Frederick Ulrich, and Ryan Whelan.
