The Bradley E. Bailey Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 by Thomas E. Bailey, Jr., in memory of his son, Bradley E. Bailey, who graduated from Northeastern University’s computer science program in 1998. The scholarship provides up to $2,000 in funding for current Khoury students who have demonstrated financial need, good academic achievement, and soundness of character.
The donor asks that award recipients assume the moral obligation to reimburse the fund in future years, if they are able, in order to make additional aid available for more students. When the donor is visiting the Boston area, he has also requested a meeting with scholarship recipients.

Students must submit an application to receive funding. Applications should include a basic overview and justification for the project, identified users, timeline, budget, and relevance to Khoury and Northeastern.
If you plan to utilize funds for a full-time co-op, the project must meet Northeastern’s co-op requirements and you must discuss the opportunity with your co-op coordinator prior to submitting your application.

The Virtual Institutes for Cyber and Electromagnetic Spectrum Research and Employ DoD Electromagnetic and Cyber Research and Experiential Education Virtual Institute (VICEROY DECREE) is a consortium of four universities created in close collaboration with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Information Base partners to address recruitment and training challenges faced in DoD-related cyber and Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) fields. The goal of the program is to grow the availability of well-qualified and trained students with essential knowledge, skills, and abilities required to plan, synchronize, and lead DoD-related cyber and EMS operations.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Full-time undergraduate student (preferably sophomore or junior)
- Must fulfill specific academic requirements and course pre-requisites
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or U.S. National
