5 points.  If they have submitted something reasonable, full points.
Otherwise deduct a point or two.

-- 3. A table, giving the transmission ranges for each of the 8
settings

16 points.  Deduct 1 pt for each setting that has an error, or 2 pts
if the setting is missing.

-- 4. A plot of TX power vs transmission range, for a fixed receive threshold of -81.0dBm, for each of the two propagation-loss models.

5 points for each plot.  If the plot is correct, given the data but
the data is incorrect, give 4 points.  If plots are incorrect, deduct
at least 2 pts each.

-- 5. A brief analysis or comparison of different propagation models

4 points.  Full credit for a reasonable analysis.  Comments such as
which propagation model is more relaxed are reasonable. 


III.

important details are missing, deduct a point or 2.

3. Plots of pkt loss rate vs. dist 

-- 5 points for each of the 3 plots.  Deduct a point or two if the
plots are incorrect.

IV

1. Script file of your command line output

-- 5 points.  Full credit except if some parts are missing.

2. The 10 BER vs distance plots.

-- 20 points. Deduct a point for incorrect plot, and 2 for missing
plot.

3. Give an explanation for how the BER plots change as you change the receive-threshold. 

-- 5 points.  Full if correct explanation along the lines of what we
discussed.  Deduct at least a point or two if the explanation not
fully correct.
