Research Assignment 3 (Study Idea Critique)

The purpose of this assignment is to have you continue to think critically and creatively about how to study the uEMA method in an experiment at Northeastern that might be conducted during the class. You will be given a writeups from one of your peers from the prior assignment. Review it carefully. For the experiment proposed, put on your reviewer hat. In about one page, address the following points:

• Is the question posed an important question to answer? Why or why not? If not, how can it be reframed?
• What are the strengths of the experiment as proposed?
• What are the weaknesses of the experiment as proposed? How could it be strengthened?
• What additional opportunities or challenges do you see? if the class were to run this experiment?

In making your claims, where possible, you should cite relevant articles from the Endnote library (e.g., readings discussed in class).

Be prepared to discuss your ideas in class.
