What do one iconic American corporation, 40 graduate students, 10 projects, one dancing robot and fancy cupcakes have in common? The GE Hackathon Challenge of course!
Hosted by the College of Computer and Information Science, the GE Aviation Hackathon Challenge held February 25-26 on campus was a resounding success. Students were charged with creating solutions to GE’s real-life issues managing privacy, regulation, and compliance data. Bringing their A-game to strategic projects through collaborations with GE team leaders, students wowed with creative, innovative ideas.
GE judges recognized top projects through criteria based on creativity, user-experience and impact on resources and time. Award categories and winning teams:
