Financial Support for PhD Students
Northeastern University and Khoury College of Computer Sciences offer a number of financial aid and scholarship opportunities to help finance our PhD students’ education. Funding opportunities vary based on program and research funding availability; typical packages may include:
- Funding from a combination of research assistantships, teaching assistantships and/or fellowships. Research and teaching assistantships are often referred to as Student Graduate Assistantships (SGAs).
- Guaranteed 5-year funding, health insurance, and tuition waiver for students who are making academic progress.
- Funding in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
