Women in Tech, Seattle

Empowering and supporting female-identifying students in tech

Women in Tech empowers and supports female-identifying students in tech by helping them to expand their knowledge, grow their networks, and progress their careers.

To help its 120 members do this, the club holds community events like office visits and public discussions with peers working at major companies. The club’s goal is to use on-campus resources to holistically support members academically and professionally — all in an inclusive and empowering environment.

All women in tech are welcome to join, and the organization makes a point of embracing members’ diverse backgrounds. Members gain a greater awareness of diversity and inclusion efforts, build their communication skills and confidence, and develop a strong professional community. Members can also attend the Women in Tech Regatta, a week-long annual gathering that connects and engages successful women in thought-provoking conversations outside of the typical structured business setting.
