The Data Science Hub

Geek out with crazy projects and epic adventures

The Data Science Hub is a community for graduate students to share knowledge, do data science, and network together. Members build technical skills in data science, as well as more general presentation and communication skills.

The Hub aims to be three resources: a source for academic content, sharing data science skills and knowledge; a venue to collaborate on data science projects, with emphasis on those that benefit the Northeastern community; and a forum where members can network in the university and the industry. To this end, the club’s almost 600 members can participate in events such as a data science hackathon, co-op talks, and data science workshops.

I enjoy being part of the club because I get to be part of a community that enjoys solving data science problems. My favorite event is the Datathon, where club members work on a real data problem and take inspiration from each other
