Roux Chinese Cultural Club

Promoting understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture

The Roux Chinese Culture Club, or RCCC, is a graduate student organization that explores and celebrates traditional and modern Chinese culture.

Although it is open to all, the RCCC aims to offer a platform for students who identify with Chinese heritage to come together, share their values, and forge connections. The club’s several dozen members can build communication skills and a loving appreciation for Chinese culture. Examples of previous club events include film screenings that focus on LGBTQ themes within Chinese society and a Chinese calligraphy event to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The RCCC strives to eliminate discrimination, foster mutual respect and understanding, and create an inclusive space where people from diverse backgrounds can explore and appreciate Chinese culture. Members can expect to gain cultural literacy, socialize, and build connections with other students.

We warmly welcome anyone interested in Chinese culture, and together, we explore and gain deeper insights
