Graduate Women Coders Club

A community bridging the gap between knowledge and opportunity, where all womxn can learn, grow, and connect through their personal and professional journeys

The Graduate Women Coders Club is a space for all women — including trans women, genderqueer women, and nonbinary students who identify as female — to connect with, support, and encourage one another.

To empower female coders, the club hosts a wide range of activities and events, divided roughly among four categories: the She+ Discovers technical workshop series that exposes members to computing career opportunities, She+ Networks events where members chat with corporate
sponsors and potential employers, She+ Belongs social events that promote networking within the club, and the She+ Codes Microsoft Teams channel, where members can partner up, collaborate on online competitive programming websites like LeetCode and HackerRank, and build their
technical skills.

Because female coders are frequently held back by gender biases in the field, the Graduate Women Coders Club builds an empowering, uplifting community where female coders can support one another to become successful leaders in the field. The club’s members build social skills and a strong professional network, in addition to gaining technical proficiency.
