ColorStack @ Northeastern University

A supportive organization helping Black and Latinx CS students complete their degrees and build rewarding technical careers.

ColorStack @ Northeastern University is the Northeastern chapter of ColorStack, an organization dedicated to supporting Black and Latinx students pursuing tech careers.

Black and Latinx students face unique challenges in computer science education, including a lack of representation and resources, bias in academia and the workplace, and socioeconomic and cultural barriers. ColorStack brings students together to break down these shared barriers.

ColorStack @ Northeastern University aims to empower students with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to excel in tech. It does this by providing a supportive community and offering resources like resume review sessions, technical workshops, and networking nights to help its members achieve academic and professional success. Through their involvement, the club’s roughly 40 members achieve academic success, practice professional development, and foster a supportive community.

Our aim is to foster a supportive community where all Black and Latinx students can thrive academically and pursue fulfilling careers in the tech industry
