Arlington Explorers’ Society

Discover the natural beauty of Arlington and surrounding areas

The Arlington Explorers’ Society was created to help its members discover the natural beauty of Arlington and its surrounding areas through outdoor activities such as hiking. The club’s members build camaraderie, social connections, and, for those who help organize club events, skills like organizing, planning, marketing, and budget-planning.

The Arlington Explorers’ Society travels throughout Arlington and DC area. In the past, the Society has planned hikes to places like the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms, Gravelly Point, Theodore Roosevelt Island, and the Rock Creek Trails, as well as taken group trips to local museums.

The Arlington Explorers’ Society aims to provide opportunities for its members to explore the natural beauty of Arlington and the surrounding areas
