Financing your degree
Master’s students utilize a range of resources to finance their degrees. Explore below several funding sources as well as employment opportunities that can offset the cost of your investment in a master’s degree.
Tuition and fees
Khoury College’s master’s degree program costs are determined by the number of credits each degree requires. For the most up-to-date cost per credit hour and information on student fees, refer to the Student Financial Services website. Total credit hours required for each degree program can be found in the academic catalog. Total tuition costs are an estimate and will be determined by the number of credit hours you elect throughout the course of your program.
Student Financial Services and financial aid
Students who are citizens and permanent residents may be eligible for Federal Student Aid, which can cover the cost of tuition, fees, and living expenses for the duration of your academic program. Submit a FAFSA to find out if you are eligible. More information on student loans and aid — including information for international students — can be found on the Student Financial Services website.
Graduate co-ops
Co-ops are a meaningful way to help fund your education as you gain industry experience, apply your classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and build important connections to set yourself up for success after you graduate.
Student employment
Students are eligible for part-time student employment positions after their first semester in roles such as teaching assistants, ambassadors, instructional assistants, or research assistants. Khoury-based opportunities are shared out on a rolling basis by academic advisors. More information on roles elsewhere in the university can be found on the Office of Student Employment, Graduate Assistantships, and Fellowships website.
Scholarships
Khoury College and Northeastern University offer a variety of internal and external scholarships for graduate students.
