Graduate Certificate Apply
Find the application requirements for each graduate certificate program. (Note that some programs are administered through Northeastern colleges other than Khoury College.)
Program admissions requirements
Inclusive Computer Science Education graduate certificate
To apply for admission to the Inclusive Computer Science Education graduate certificate, you must submit the following:
- Online application and fee
- Unofficial undergraduate/graduate transcripts (you can submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended at the time of admission)
- Statement of purpose that should include career goals and expected outcomes and benefits from the program
- Recent professional resumé listing detailed position responsibilities
- Two letters of recommendation
- Evidence of service as a current K-12 educator, preferably by a letter of recommendation
Acceptance to Khoury College is granted upon recommendation of the college graduate committee after a review of the completed application. Learn more about the Inclusive Computer Science Education graduate certificate program.
Domestic students: For fall semester admission, applications are due August 1. For spring semester admission, applications are due December 1.
Cybersecurity graduate certificate
To apply for admission to the Cybersecurity graduate certificate, you must submit the following:
- Online application and fee
- PDF or scanned copies of unofficial undergraduate transcripts (you can submit official transcripts from colleges/universities attended at the time of admission)
- Statement of purpose, including description of academic or professional goals and relevant work experience
- Two confidential letters of reference from individuals that know your academic record and/or potential for graduate study
Acceptance to Khoury College is granted upon recommendation of the college graduate committee after a review of the completed application. Learn more about the Cybersecurity graduate certificate program.
Domestic students: For fall semester admission, applications are due August 1. For spring semester admission, applications are due December 1.
Data Analytics graduate certificate
To apply for admission to the Data Analytics graduate certificate program, you must submit an online application that includes:
- PDF or scanned copies of unofficial undergraduate/graduate transcripts (you can submit official transcripts from colleges/universities attended at the time of admission)
- Statement of purpose, including description of relevant work experience
- Recent professional resume listing detailed position responsibilities
- Reference letter from an individual who knows your academic or professional record and/or potential for graduate study
Note: An undergraduate course in statistics must be successfully completed before beginning your program, but not necessarily before application submission.
Domestic students: For fall semester admission, applications are due August 1. For spring semester admission, applications are due December 1.

Health Informatics Management and Exchange graduate certificate
To apply for admission to the Health Informatics Management and Exchange graduate certificate program, you must submit an online application that includes:
- PDF or scanned copies of unofficial undergraduate/graduate transcripts (you can submit official transcripts from colleges/universities attended at the time of admission)
- The Foreign Credential Evaluation (FCE) is a required assessment of all transcripts and documents from non-US accredited post-secondary education institutions (review the FCE requirements by country)
- Statement of purpose that includes career goals and expected outcomes/benefits from the program
- Recent professional resumé listing detailed position responsibilities
- Three confidential letters of recommendation
Note: Acceptance is granted upon recommendation of the college graduate committee after a review of the completed application.
