The Huntington 100 recognizes Northeastern community members who truly embody the mission, ideals, and values of the University.
Luis Bechara Romero, Khoury ’21
“Being part of the Huntington 100 means being blessed with both incredible opportunities and very important responsibilities. It means being able to reach out to all generations of Huntington 100 for advice and support, but also being welcoming and helpful to those who reach out to you. Most importantly, it means that you made the most of the opportunities that were presented to you at Northeastern, and now it’s your responsibility to collaborate with your alma mater and fellow inductees, so others can have these opportunities.”
Lucas Calero Forero, Khoury ’21
“Being part of Huntington 100 means recognition for all the growth that I’ve done in the community during my time at Northeastern. This award only makes me think of all the peers, professors, mentors, and advisors that have been building community with me for these past 5 years. I’m honored to have received this recognition, but most of all I’m thankful that I was able to learn with and from the Northeastern community.”
Jennifer Der, Khoury ’21
“To me, the Huntington 100 means being part of a network of people who strive to build and support a community within and around Northeastern.”
Dania Alnahdi, Khoury ’21
“Being a part of the Huntington 100 is a reminder of how I should always strive to leverage my knowledge and skills to serve my community. It encapsulates my accomplishments at Northeastern within the intersection of computer science, creativity, and social justice, which I will always carry with me as I navigate my career in technology and social good.”
Harrison Hur, Khoury ’21
“As a low-income and first-generation college student, being part of the Huntington 100 is a celebration of what it means to be a Northeastern graduate — impactful leaders who relentlessly strive towards a better future for their communities. The award is a culmination of the successes and challenges that I encountered throughout my college journey, and ultimately it is a testament to the values of excellence that Northeastern embodies.”
Nupur Neogi, Khoury ’21
“As a women in CS, a transfer student, and someone who was quite shy, I never expected to grow and lead in the way that I did at Northeastern. For me, being a part of the Huntington 100 community is a testament to how much I have grown in my fast four years here, as well as an inspiration as to how I want to continue contributing to the communities I am a part of past college. My hope is that I have helped lay a path for others in these spaces so that they are empowered to grow and lead in their own way throughout their college journey.”
Daniel Rassaby, Khoury ’21
“All the Huntington 100 members have left their own mark on the Northeastern community. I feel grateful to Northeastern for all the opportunities it has given me. So, when I heard I would be inducted as a member of the Huntington 100, I felt proud that I had an impact on my own little corner of our community.”
Ifteda Ahmed-Syed, Khoury ’21
“Being part of the Huntington 100 feels like a pat on the back that has made the past few years feel all the more worth it. Each of my commitments throughout college did, of course, have its own purpose and reward. But it is undeniably heartwarming to know that others have noticed and appreciated my efforts. It is encouraging to feel seen. Through the Huntington 100, I am honored to have an extra tether to Northeastern, and I graduate with a stronger bond to the community.”
Devina Raithatha, DMSB’18, Khoury ’22

So, when I heard I would be inducted as a member of the Huntington 100, I felt proud that I had an impact on my own little corner of our community.”
